What We Offer
We believe in the individual student and making sure that he or she receives the best opportunity to succeed in their educational journey. We have a variety of services to help establish the best plan moving forward and work to implement it with the school’s administration and educators. Your student is our PRIORITY!
Psycho-Educational Evaluations
Comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations are provided in a private setting to help identify your student's unique strengths and needs and support their path toward appropriate educational services and accommodations. Assessments may include measures of cognitive functioning, academic achievement, social-emotional development, and adaptive skills. When appropriate, screening tools for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) may also be administered. The evaluation process is designed to provide meaningful insights that can guide educational planning, intervention, and advocacy efforts to help your student succeed.
Advocacy
The goal as a special education advocate is to help students and families receive the educational services and support they are entitled to, whether they are in the early stages of receiving a special education disability diagnosis or already navigating the educational environment. We will work with families, schools, and service providers to ensure students' needs are understood and addressed. We might attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) or 504 meetings, explain special education laws and rights, help parents communicate effectively with school staff, review educational records, and recommend appropriate accommodations or services. Our goal is to support students in accessing a free and appropriate education while promoting their academic, social, and personal success.
Educational Consulting
Special education consulting provides families and educational teams with expert guidance to navigate the special education process and ensure students receive appropriate support. Services may include reviewing evaluations and educational records, providing recommendations for accommodations and interventions, assisting with IEP and 504 Plan development, attending meetings, and helping families understand their educational rights and options. The goal is to foster collaboration, informed decision-making, and positive educational outcomes for students with diverse learning needs.
